The job will entail a mix of development and research roles:
- Development
- Mobile App design and development
- Social App design and development
- Gestural application development (MS Kinect, Panasonic D-Imager)
- Augmented reality application development
- Personalised video and game content development
- Game development
- Web development
- R&D
- Investigating new technologies
- Prototyping innovations
- Accessing the technical landscape and reporting on findings to a steering group on a monthly basis
Successful candidates will need:
- A proven track record in software development and R&D
- Exceptional software architecture skills and knowledge of the software development process
- Exceptional Flash Development Experience (AS2 & AS3) and all other web technologies
- Experience with AR, QR, Gestural Technologies
- Experience working with video online
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Excellent time management and experience working to tight deadlines
- Experience bringing research projects to reality in a commercial environment
- A passion for technology, creating world beating work and an acute eye for detail
- The ability to work within, and potentially build and lead, a team of developers
